On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 10:50 A.M. while holding his daughter, Lynell’s hand, praying, confessing the things that God had done for him, he again accepted Jesus as his Savior. Donald was tired and he answered God’s call to come home.

Donald Brown, Son-In-Law
Donald was a true and sincere father-in-law, who has always been there for me. I’ve always known him to be a protective and loving
Father, Grandfather, and Father-In-Law.
Our children, Donald’s Grandchildren
Montro Brown (Chisa)
I remember finding out that we called him “Donald” because he was too young for someone to br called “Grandpa” when I was born. So, when I was older, I asked him about it. He laughed and said, “well Montie, I was!” But you know what? It didn’t make a single difference. “Grandfather” is just a title. Donald Fletcher always showed he cared no matter what. From the bags of M&Ms every night when he got off the road to the cross-country road trips, he made to bring us home when needed. He was there without hesitation; I could go on & on; but I couldn’t ask for a better grandfather. Thank you for always being there when I needed you. I miss you and will always love you.
Your grandson, Montie

Uncle Donald there are several things that I will miss without you, and they are the love we shared, the smile on your face when in each other’s presence. I will miss the laughter we shared, especially when I would ask what you were doing? You would always reply, “sitting on my fanny.” You would always ask for your niece.
