  9. Condolences to the family. I have very fond memories of Ms. Joan when I worked with her. I loved eating lunch with her and absorbing her wisdom. She was a very special person and deeply cared for others especially her family.

  10. I am so lucky to have had met, worked along side, and called Joan my friend. She was generous, loving, and a force to be reckoned with when we worked together in Princess Anne, at Go Getters. Everyone respected and knew it would be a good day when they saw her. She had that special way about her where she could defuse a situation with a hug. She will be sorely missed. Love to her family. Just know she touched so many lives with her wise words and funny stories.

    Love, Mary Lankford
