A role model as a lady of integrity is how I remember Miss Jones. Her neat style of dressing was as remarkable as her knowledge of mathematics.
Miss Jones and Mr. Whittington were instrumental in my receiving a scholarship to nursing school that resulted in a 45 year career that included becoming an officer in the US AIR FORCE.. She is a part of many generations coming through Woodson and will be told to future generations. I can pray to a life of such impact and fullness. Her legacy is most desirable.
