“Ben” was a very valuable member of our administrative team at DuVal High School. He was very supportive of the school’s Vision. “Ben” loved his job, working with students, staff, parents, businesspersons, and community leaders. No task was too great for him, and there was no time limit on him completing the professional responsibility in the manner of an outstanding effective education leader.
My Brother, because of your dedication and commitment to excellence, the DuVal High Goals and Objectives were achieved. We knew the school climate provided all students with the opportunity to learn, and teachers to teach in a safe and orderly environment. Because of your efforts, and the efforts of others DuVal High School was an EFFECTIVE SCHOOL.
Thank you for your support and friendship. GOD BLESS, REST IN PEACE🙏🙏

  3. So sorry to hear of Dr. Hosch’s passing. He was always kind to me, and we shared several laughs. It is sad that he did not have time to enjoy a full retirement. RIP, Dr. Hosch.

  5. He was definitely a great person and always had a smile on his face. One of the best principals I was ever able to be myself around. He will truly be missed!

  6. There are three things that will endure, faith, hope and love, the greatest of these is love.
We loved Ben and our hearts are deeply sadden by his passing. He was truly a blessing in our lives and we grew up appreciating his care and concern. He always provided an encouraging word that inspired us to work harder and reach higher. We have fond memories of him spending time with our father on his visit to North Carolina. We pray that you will also find comfort in his memory and that the love and mercy of our Lord will be with you forever.

  7. How difficult it was to say good-bye to such an inspiring, caring, thoughtful individual. We loved him dearly simply because of his personality, his fun sense of humor, and his genuine concern for others. I don’t have the words to say just how much I’ll miss him. My heart breaks knowing I will never see him or talk to him again on this side of life. Yet my heart rejoices knowing that one day, we will meet again! My prayers to his family and all of his friends who loved him so. Rest well my friend. We promise, we will never forget you. God bless you Benjamin. ❤️
