Glenda Evans

Glenda Faye DeJarnette-Evans, 64, of Marion Station, Maryland, peacefully passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD. Born May 25, 1958 in Alabama, Glenda was raised in Boston, MA.

Glenda is survived by five sons: Christopher DeJarnette (Carol), Charles DeJarnette (Angela), Alexander DeJarnette, Sr. , Kenneth Evans (Denise) and William Evans; three Daughters, Lillian Ward (Howard, Jr.), Cassandra Evans, and Crystal Jackson (Anthony, Sr.); 30 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one brother, Alvin DeJarnette (Callista) and a host of nephews; nieces; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Evans, Sr.; one grandson, Justin DeJarnette; her mother, Willie Mae DeJarnette-Nolan; one sister, Deborah Harrison; one daughter, Valerie Evans-Williams; two sons, Anthony Evans, Jr. and Charles Evans.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 8 , 2022 at Marion United Methodist Church, 5630 Tulls Corner Road in Marion Station with a viewing one hour prior. A public viewing will also be held 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Friday October 7, 2022Β  at Anthony E. Ward, Jr. Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Maryland.

She had a good loving caring heart. She always loved her children and entire family and friends so much. She will be sadly missed and loved so much. R.I.P. Cousin Glenda

  4. Glenda always called me Ms. Jackson every time she saw me. We would go back and forth about it but that’s who I was. I had the opportunity to take her out one day before she became I’ll and it was a very enjoyable day. She will most definitely be missed by her family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Rest easy Glenda no more pain, no more worries your job here is complete. Continued prayers for the family.

Glenda was good person and a good friend if she knew something was up and she didnt like it she always had your back we sure did have some good times together most of all I will miss her coming in the store getting on my nerves on purpose lol she is already missed until we again R.I.P my friend
